Midnight puke and playtime

What a night!

Harraz has been having the sniffles since the weekend and he started to cough quite badly yesterday. It was pretty hard to get him to sleep last night but he finally did drift off around 10pm, I think.

About one hour later, he woke up coughing and all his milk suddenly came out. I totally panicked and picked him up. He kept throwing up and crying. Puke was all over the bed. This really brought back memories of Alya and her kidney problem. I called Azha to come home straightaway. Tried to calm Harraz down by putting on the ‘Itsy Bitsy Spider’ on my Iphone. He was quiet for a while but threw up again. This time his dinner came out. It took a while before he was calm. Put him on the floor and tried to take off his pjs. He seemed ok and actually smiled so I quickly washed his body and changed his clothes. Azha got home and changed the sheets straight away. I had a quick shower and nursed Harraz to sleep in Alya’s room. We opened the windows so it was less stuffy. I think it was around 1am when we both fell asleep.

The next thing I knew, he woke up again! Crying as usual but had his milk and calmed  down. Then he suddenly decided that 4.30am is a good time to play. Probably because he woke up in a new place, instead of our room. So had to follow him while he toddled between Alya’s room and our room. Decided to take him downstairs to tire him out. Two hours later, he felt sleepy (thank god) and slept in the swing. I went back to bed but was awaken by his cry.  I nursed him again and that made him sleep up till 8am. Pheww! What a way to start the day!

Such a gorgeous day for the Postgrad Graduation Ceremony. Got to the office about 11.30am after giving Harraz his brekkie. Wanted to make sure he’s ok before leaving him for the day. Plus, I think Azha needs to sleep-in as well as he hasn’t been so well either. Gave Micheal the Lindam Jump About Bouncer for his 6month baby and he seemed excited about it.

Anyway, the plan today is to:

  1. Finish off the last 4 transcripts
  2. Record all findings in a proper table
  3. Visit Aliff and Wanie’s baby at around 4pm

Well, since I’ve been blogging for an hour, I think only one transcript is realistic for today!
